Our vigil at the Altar of Repose begins immediately following our Maundy Thursday Services, lasting through the night and concluding with our observance of Good Friday.

During your time we invite you to meditate, to pray silently, or simply to sit quietly and keep watch remembering our Lord’s Passion and Death.

Good Friday | Holy Week 2024

Good Friday is the most solemn day of the church year. Elements of the liturgy for this day date from the fourth century, and are based on practices that were observed during Holy Week at various holy sites in Jerusalem.

Easter Plate Offering 2024

Each year at Saint Michael and All Angels Episcopal Church, as part of our Easter celebrations, we have a lovely tradition of giving 100% of our undesignated offerings on Easter Day to outreach projects supported by our parish. This year’s theme is around 'Helping People Home'. The selected organizations are active in helping individuals achieve a high-quality life in safe, financially secure, beautiful homes. The agencies include:

OurCalling

oc-title-green-transparent-copy_844OurCalling helps our unsheltered homeless neighbors walk with Jesus and get off the streets. Offering more than a bed and a meal, we build custom exit strategies for each person to get out of homelessness for good.

Gateway of Grace

gateway-of-grace_78Gateway of Grace is a 501c3 helping refugees start over, many of them survivors of severe trauma, with donated furniture, pocket money, groceries, baby showers, job assistance, language lessons, and more. Most important, perhaps, Gateway trains volunteers and churches to adopt refugee families, the point where friendships form and integration begins.
