Home Communions
During the seasons of Advent and Lent, Saint Michael parishioners open their homes to neighbors and friends to celebrate Eucharist. Presided over by one of our clergy, these events imitate the intimate gathering of early Christians who met in homes and shared a meal in fellowship. The host provides the communion wine, fresh bread and serving pieces from his/her home. Hosting households may provide refreshments or a light meal after the service, but this is not required. Invitations cards are available in the Adult Formation Office for mailing to your family, friends and neighbors, or SMAA Shepherd area.
