Adult Classes October 21
It’s time to become a “Sunday School person.” The Classes are provocative, stimulating, and enlightening.
Four different Sunday classes are offered for adults at 10:00 on Sunday, October 21:
The Rector’s Forum, meeting in the Saint Michael Chapel, examines “Life’s Most Important Questions." On Sunday, Bob Dannals will explore, “Why is there Suffering?”
Words to Live By, led by Kevin Huddleston - how the ancient words of the Bible ring true today and continue to speak to our lives. Sunday will look at “God the Deliverer (Exodus 1-12).” It meets in the Parlor.
Pressure Points: Faith and Society, features known authorities discussing how the Bible and our Episcopalian beliefs shape our
decisions. Sunday, Scott Bader-Saye (Seminary of the Southwest) discusses “Economy, Ecology, and Sustainability.” Meet in the ESD Library.
Family Foundations, led by Greg Pickens, provides an adult-depth view of the same lessons being taught in Children and Family, and Youth Ministries. On Sunday, the topic is "Heaven on Earth (Matthew 6:5-13)." It meets in the Coke Activities Room.
