Volunteer with Jubilee

Once a week for one hour:
~ Distribute Food4Kids backpacks to children on Friday afternoons ~ Read to kids at O.M. Roberts Elementary or David’s Place Head Start ~ Tutor kids at O.M. Roberts Elementary or the After School Program at Jubilee ~ Prepare nutritious snacks for kids ~ Help an adult get their GED or train them on computer basics ~ Be a greeter at the new JubileeCenter ~ Play with kids or teach a new skill
Once-a-month for an hour or two:
~ Help residents package, organize and sell produce at the new Jubilee Farm Stand ~ Prepare food for holidays and special occasions ~ Nurture a young green thumb by helping with the Children's Garden ~ Pick up food from North Texas Food Bank ~ Prepare and serve lunch to Senior Citizens ~ Deliver nutritious Meals on Wheels lunches to Jubilee residents ~ Assist teens with college and career preparation ~ Join a Jubilee Task Force: Education, Public Health, Public Safety, Housing, Communications
Once-a-year projects for individuals or groups:
~ Cook for Thanksgiving or Christmas Community Luncheons ~ Make Christmas dreams come true through the "I Believe in Angels" Project ~ Be a chaperone for a field trip ~ Hold a Donation Drive for clothing, food, etc. ~ Make a difference by doing minor home repairs or landscaping ~ Teach kids etiquette, knitting, scrapbooking, sports, photography or cooking ~ Prepare dinner or snacks for night GED and ESL classes
