The Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program provides a unique, interactive opportunity for children to come in contact with scripture, the liturgy of the church, and sacred history in a Montessori based setting.

If you are a 6 year old that has not participated in Level I Catechesis, then we request you register for the 4-6 year old class. If you are a 6 year old that has attended Level I, then you are eligible for Level II for 6-9 year olds.

Classes are full so please email Gabrielle Ott at  to be placed on the wait list.

Children's Choir

Staff Minister:  Ashley Westgate

Children are invited into worship leadership and Christian formation as they learn more about  faith stories through basic music education and learning of scripture through song.  Children sing in worship on a monthly basis.

Kids will be swept up in the joy and wonder of the WHIRL program on Sunday mornings. Different levels of this interactive multimedia curriculum will be used for children ages 4 to Grade 2. Pre K classes will be led by both skilled paid professionals and adult volunteers. Kindergarten through Grade 2 will be led in a combination of group learning with Emily Given as well as small group activities and discussions with adult volunteer leaders. For more information, contact Ellen Talley, Early Childhood Minister at  for Pre K or Emily Given, Childhood and Family Ministry Director at  for Kindergarten-Grade 2.

We are very excited to announce that we will be adding another Sunday School class this year. The Bridge is a class exclusively created for 3rd graders. Using a new curriculum called Whirl, the Bridgers will be diving deeper into the liturgical readings of the day as well as large and small group activities.

Staff Minister:  Erika Bower

We are excited to continue with our tween-directed curriculum developed right here at Saint Michael's by our formation team.  This Episcopal based curriculum is called "Words To Live By" and has components of the Book of Common Prayer interwoven into each lesson.  Fourth and fifth grade students will gather in The Edge Room for real life discussions, lively games and meaningful exploration of Scripture.  Each month will focus on one value and how to apply that value in their lives.  Don't miss out on this rich and exciting 10:00 hour! Be there!
