Serve at The Gathering worship
The Gathering is a worship service for individuals that are homeless in downtown Dallas. Jim Webb, a longtime Deacon here at Saint Michaels, is leading this brand new initiative.
Each Sunday through January the youth aged families are helping with the worship by distributing socks and water bottles, helping pass out lunch, and attending the worship service. We ask that only one family go each week (or 3-5 people) so as to keep the worship as welcoming as possible.
Sign up below to help. The week of your service we will be in contact via email with an instruction sheet and other logistical information.
The service begins at 1:00 on Sundays at the Main Street Garden Park in downtown Dallas (corner of S. Harwood and Commerce). Plan on being there from 12:30 PM to 2:30 PM (eat lunch before you go).
