Volunteers from over 120 Dallas area churches, synagogues, and civic organizations provide meals and interact with the 425 men, women, and children who find shelter at the Centre each day. Saint Michael & All Angels has committed to serving dinner for the Centre on the first Wednesday of every month.  Have questions about the Austin Street Ministry? Mission and Outreach Leadership Team Meeting
May 16 @ 5:30 pm – 7:30 pm

The Mission and Outreach Leadership Team meets throughout the year to consider how best to support individual outreach ministries of Saint Michael and All Angels parish.  The meetings are open to parishioners who wish to attend the meeting to listen to what is being considered by the Leadership Team for the Mission and Outreach ministry.

Mission and Outreach Advocates’ Meeting

For the upcoming year, Mission and Outreach is scheduling a regular quarterly meeting for ministry advocates.  The purpose of the meetings will be to highlight ministries throughout the year, to build fellowship among our ministries, and to see how we might be able to learn from each other.

The Advocates’ Meetings are open to any parishioners interested in learning more about Mission and Outreach.  It is a great way to learn more about the ministries at Saint Michael and All Angels and to find an outreach ministry in which you might want to be involved.  No RSVP is required to attend the meeting.

Serve At The Gathering

The Gathering logo

The Gathering was founded with the mission of creating a spiritual home for individuals in the Dallas area who are experiencing homelessness.Endorsed and supported by the Episcopal Diocese of Dallas, what began in December 2012 with five parishioners has grown to an average of 80 to 100 people attending Mass at 1:00 and lunch supplied by parishes all over the Dioceses. Saint Michael volunteers cook and serve one Sunday every other month. Many of our parishioners are getting a better understanding of our brothers and sisters on the street by worshiping with them at Thanksgiving Square, 1627 Pacific Ave, between Akard & Ervay. Come & join us!
