0e733759_austinstreetcentre2Austin Street Centre’s purpose for existence is to offer emergency shelter, food, clothing, hot showers, and related services to the homeless of Dallas in a compassionate, Christian community so that the person in need might be better able to make responsible choices that result in positive changes in their life.

Volunteers from over 120 Dallas area churches, synagogues, and civic organizations provide meals and interact with the 425 men, women, and children who find shelter at the Centre each day. Saint Michael & All Angels has committed to serving dinner for the Centre on the first Wednesday of every month.  Have questions about the Austin Street Ministry? Project Moses is a Saint Michael ministry devoted to fighting human trafficking. During 2018, we will cook and serve meals for human trafficking victims, and we need volunteers to join us. Cooking will happen on Tuesday evenings from 5:30-7:30 in the Parish Hall Kitchen, and 7 volunteers are needed to put together the meal.
