Vestry Nominees 2018 – 2020

The Vestry has nominated the following parishioners to serve a three year term on the Vestry beginning January 1, 2018 through December 31, 2020. The vote on these candidates will be at the Annual Parish Meeting, 10:00 a.m. on Sunday, October 29 in the Church.


John Ellerman

John, a management consultant for more than 40 years, has been a member of Saint Michael and All Angels for 24 years. For the past two years he has served as chair of the Saint Michael’s Farmers Market Committee and is an active member of the Men of Saint Michael. He also has been a Lay Reader, Sunday School teacher, and Jubilee Park volunteer.


Jane Greene

Jane is a life-long Episcopalian and member of Saint Michael for more than 30 years. She is active in the Women of Saint Michael having served on its Parish Party and Gifts Committees. Jane has chaired the Youth Ministry committee, taught confirmation class, and has been a Good Shepherd for more than 15 years. She currently serves on the boards of the Episcopal School of Dallas and the Dallas Garden Club.


Jay Lipscomb

The music program at Saint Michael has been Jay’s passion for nearly 50 years. He began in the Men’s and Boy’s Choir in the ‘70s, met his wife, Suzanne, in the Oratorio Choir and they have been singing in the church’s choirs ever since, along with their three children. Jay helped form the original “Young Singles” program in the ’80s, and chaired the Saint Michael Presents concert series and currently serves on its Advisory Committee


Kyle Moore

Kyle is a 20 year member of Saint Michael and has served in several leadership roles in the church. He and his wife, Nancy, after 10 years on the Stewardship Committee, chaired the 2008 – 2009 campaign. Kyle was co-leader of the confirmation class program for three years, and currently is a member of the Mission and Outreach Committee and the Brotherhood of St. Andrew.


Anna Paccone

Anna has been a member at Saint Michael and All Angels since 1989 and is active in many ministry areas. She serves on the Altar Guild, the Prayer and Knitting Ministries and volunteers in the Book Shop. She taught Catechesis of the Good Shepherd during its first three inaugural years, was a 4th and 5th grade Sunday School teacher, and served as a Confirmation Class tribe leader.


Eligible parish members may nominate one or more candidates for the Vestry by using a Nominating Petition for each person nominated. Petitions are available here or at the South Lanai reception desk. Petitions must be returned to the South Lanai receptionist by 4:30 p.m. on October 11, 2017.
