Child Care (more info)
Child care for Parish events is available with a reservation made at least 3 days in advance. Sunday child care is available from 8:30 a.m. until 12:30 p.m. for infants and toddlers to age three without a reservation. Children ages 3-5 may stay in room 9 during the 8:40 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. church services.

Mother's Day Out
The Child Development Department also offers a year-round Mother's Day Out for infants through three year olds. We provide age appropriate activities and equipment which nurture the development of the whole child. Learning through play is our main focus. Due to small class size, spaces are limited. Form more information,
click here for registration packet or call Child Development for more details.

Preschool
Preschool classes focus on preparing our children for kindergarten.  The curriculum encourages creativity, social interaction and cognitive development. Children practice math skills, writing and pre-reading skills. Spanish, music, and movement classes are offered weekly. Chapel is offered twice a month.

Child Development Committee
The purpose of this committee is to support the Child Development Department by actively working with the Director to solve problems, expand services and assure that excellent care is provided for the youngest members of our parish. This committee meets monthly and consists of members representing the various groups in the parish that utilize the childcare offered.

Child Protection Program
Anyone who wishes to volunteer with our child development program is required to take the Child Protection Program.  The next class will be held, August 23, 2008 from 9:00 - 11:00 a.m.  Please click here for more information. Please contact Kimberly Hughes at khughes@saintmichael.org if you have additional questions.

M.O.M.s Meeting
(Mothers Offering Mothers Support) is an organization for mothers of young children. The emphasis is on spiritual, emotional, and educational growth. The group meets on the second Friday morning of each month for a special program. Contact Phoebe Moore for more information.
