The North Dallas Shared Ministries’ pantry provides more than just canned goods. Bread, milk, eggs, butter, tortillas, fresh meats, 5# frozen casseroles, and hygiene items are pantry staples offered to every household that receives a 3-5 day supply of food valued at $40 per person. Most of these items and many others NDSM must buy out of an annual food budget of $200,000.

February, July and November are months to support the pantry of North Dallas Shared Ministries. You may do so by writing a check (made payable to NDSM) or purchasing items and delivering them to the church. The benefit of writing a check is that NDSM has greater purchasing power. Items bought from the North Texas Food Bank cost 14 cents per pound. Imagine a one pound can of peaches or box of corn flakes costing 14 cents. Arrangements with other vendors allow NDSM to purchase whatever else is needed including diapers and toilet paper at reduced prices.
