New Orleans “Love Thy Neighbor” When you first drive into town, it appears much better than you would have expected. Restaurants in the French Quarter have reopened, Tulane University is open and there is activity and little apparent trash in the streets. But you must look further. Outside of the Quarter, shops are closed, windows are boarded and the X/O’s from the search and rescue boats remain painted on most houses. Almost two years later, the destruction in New Orleans is so extensive, complicated and presumable long-term, that it is easier to let it be someone else’s problem. It is overwhelming and unfathomable, so much so that it seems impossible. But many stories in New Orleans show God’s work and reflect His love. Rebuilding has begun and we want to be a part of that. Come and be a part of the NOLA NETWORK and share in the miracles seen daily. For detailed information, please call Nancy and Barry Crossman at 214-357-4939.
