Prayer Ministry The Prayer Ministry is available for your prayer needs and offered for those suffering with illness, work issues, family needs and other concerns. Prayers of thanksgiving are also welcome. You may pray as you feel the most comfortable - with the support of others attending the service, or quietly and privately with the clergy. All prayer requests are kept in strict confidence. Sunday Morning Healing Fellow parishioners are available to pray with you during the 8:45 a.m. and 11:00 a.m. service each Sunday morning. You may come to the Prayer Chapel after you have received Eucharist or at the conclusion of the service - the Chapel is located in the nathex behind the main sanctuary. When a kneeler is available, enter the Chapel and speak to the member of the Prayer Team - they will ask you a few questions, and you will be able to share your needs and concerns. You may request prayers for yourself or for loved ones. Sunday Prayers for Healing - Bishop Moore Chapel At 10:10 a.m. on Sunday, a short service of prayers, Laying on of Hands and Anointing is led by one of the clergy. You may come offering prayers for yourself or someone else, and all are welcome. If you choose to go to the altar for prayer, you will be asked to share your needs and concerns with a member of the clergy. Wednesday Morning Healing Service A special Healing Service is held each Wednesday morning at 10:00 a.m. in the Bishop Moore Chapel. It is appropriate to attend this service for your own personal needs or for the needs of loved ones. You may attend service alone or with family or loved ones. Laying on Hands and Anointing is followed by a Rite Two Eucharist. After a reading and short homily, those with prayer needs are invited to come to the altar. You will be able to share your needs and concerns with the clergy when you come to the altar. Bishop Moore Intercessors The intercessory prayer ministry consists of members of the church who come to the Bishop Moore chapel on a regular basis to pray the individual requests of parishioners. These are kept in a notebook in the chapel, and prayers are continued for the length of time requested. A link to the prayer request can be found in the upper right hand corner of this web page or prayer request forms can be obtained from the church receptionish or from one of the prayer ministers in the Prayer Chapel in the main sactuary narthex on Sunday morning. We Need Volunteers Do you have an extra half hour a week to devote to others who are in need of prayer? Prayer Ministry is always welcoming volunteers and will be accomodating to your schedule. Please contact Maria D'Antoni at 972-252-7911 to get involved.
