Sunday School Registration
2007-2008

Registration for the 2007-2008 Sunday School year will go on the website after June 17, 2007 and will be mailed mid-July.

Sign your children up for Sunday school where they'll learn scripture, reason and tradition through an interactive learning experience. Classes meet Sunday mornings from 10:00 to 10:50 am throughout the school year. The 2007-2008 Sunday school year will begin on Sunday, September 16.

Any child who is 3 years old by September 1, 2007 and has been toilet trained is welcome to sign up for the 3 year old Sunday school class. If your child turns three after this date, they will begin Sunday school in the Fall of 2008.

We are continuing to register with the online form (the link on the right hand side of the page). We have added a space for your e-mail addresses this year so that we can e-mail you important reminders and particularly for the 4th and 5th grade classes' Parent Sunday Newsletter and The Edge announcements.

Class assignments will be posted on the bulletin boards in the hall between Child Development and ESD and upstairs across from Children and Family Ministry the week of Homecoming. Sunday School registration is a way to ensure uniform class size and diversity. It is our desire to see all schools represented in each Sunday School classroom and to give children the opportunity to meet new people and create bonds that will carry them on to the Youth Program. Please trust us to place your child in the appropriate classroom. We have spent time in each classroom visiting and getting to know the children and teachers. We want your child to be happy and to provide them the best environment in which to flourish. CFM has your child's best interest at heart and wants to assure you our goal is to help your child find their identity as Christians and send them forth to love and serve God and grow in their faith.

We are looking for Sunday school teachers for next year for 3 year olds through 4th Grade. No experience is required, only a helpful heart and willingness to ask for help. We in the CFM department are here to help you become the best teachers you can be.   You are welcome to shepherd every week or teach on a 4 week basis for 3 year olds through 3rd grade.  For the 4th grade, we are looking for teachers willing to either teach every Sunday or on a rotational basis once or twice per month.  Please contact Lisa Nelms, 214-365-9343 x251 or lnelms@saintmichael.org or Sarah Freeman, 214-365-9343 x273 or sfreeman@saintmichael.org if you are interested in teaching or would like further information.
