Something new for 3rd grade...if you are in 3rd grade, have participated in VBS before, and will be 9 years old by June 1, you have a choice to make this year. You may participate in the Guides-In-Training class or be a Junior Guide!
Guides-In-Training Program
3rd Graders participate in this program as a step between being a VBS participant and being a Junior Guide. The class does the lessons each day, goes to the drama production, and plays outside. In addition to this, they help with the Chapel skits, put on a skit either for one of the drama days or the closing ceremony, and help out in different areas to learn what Junior Guides do. Come join the fun this year!!
Junior Guides
Junior Guides help out in the classrooms. They help with crafts, play with the children, and help the teacher in other ways. Anyone who is 10 years old and older can sign up to be a Junior Guide. Junior Guide (4th & 5th Graders) training will be the first full week in June this year. If you have a conflict with school not being out, we will have an intense training on Sunday, June 8 after church.
