There is no limit to the possibilities of what this congregation can do to help people both locally and all over the world but we need your help! We encourage you to get involved in the church and share your time, talents and most of all your hearts with those in need.

Meals on Wheels
Description: Deliver meals to home-bound individuals
Note: This is especially fun to do as a couple, or partner
Time Commitment: one morning, once a month from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30p.m.

Welcome Packet Delivery
Description: Deliver “Welcome Packets” to those visitors who turned in pew cards at that Sunday’s church services. If a visitor does not live close by, or lives in a gated community, then you will mail the packet to the visitor.
Time Commitment: 4-5 Sundays each year, deliveries take 1 to 1 ½ hours.

Book Shop Volunteer
Description: Assist customers in book and gift selections in the book shop at the church
Time Commitment: Once or twice a month on Mondays from 9:30am to 12:30pm, or Sundays from 8:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m.

Funeral Ushers
Description: preferably retired and dedicated parishioners to usher at funerals.
Time Commitment: Varies

Sunday Greeters
Description: Greet people as they come into the church before and after the service in the main sanctuary.
Time Commitment: One Sunday a month for 10-15 minutes.

By Our Love Supper Club Ministry
Description: Cook and /or serve a hot, nutritious meal for the residents of the Hillcrest House
Time Commitment: Once a month from 6:00 p.m. - 7:00 p.m. at Hillcrest House

Lunch Receptionist
Description: Sit at the front desk while our receptionist takes a lunch hour. Answer the phone, sign for packages, and assist anyone in need who comes to the front desk.
Time Commitment: Tuesday, Thursday, or Friday during the lunch hour.

Parish Events
Description: Help organize, set up, and coordinate parish events by being a part of the Reception Committee, Homecoming Committee, Greening of the Church Committee, Feast of Lights Committee, or Wednesday Lenten Dinner Series Committee.

Repair and Redesign on a Dime
Description: This Fall, Children and Family Ministry is sponsoring “Repair and Design on a Dime” with the Jubilee Center. Twenty families from the Jubilee neighborhood have been selected, based on need, for the Repair and Design on a Dime Project. At least twenty Saint Michael families, groups, and parishioners are needed to “adopt” these Jubilee homes. The Saint Michael family will assess the needs of the Jubilee family’s home and will be given $500 for these repairs, fix-ups, and decorations. More
