The 2007 Parish Party was a huge success on many levels thanks.
Over 140 individuals and couples were underwriters
More than 120 people donated 296 items for the Auction
Our fabulous Auction Chair, Jeff Rice and I were blessed with over 90 parishioners helping with everything from invitations to Auction solicitation to Set Up the day of to volunteering the night of the party!
It was a wonderful time of fellowship and fun and Good Purpose with over 400 guests attending. All ages, interests and groups within our church were represented. We ate, danced, bid on fabulous items and just enjoyed each others company---- a truly special evening that was blessed by God.
Besides fellowship and having fun together, the Women of Saint Michael also hosted the event to raise money for our Outreach Ministries, the Jubilee Center and Special Needs of Our Parish. I am so excited to announce that, we far exceeded our hoped for goal!
With your help and generous support, we are proud to report the Parish Party and Auction raised $97,020.78.
$3,084 went to pay for the special needs of the church as requested by staff.
25% of the remaining proceeds, or $23,484.20, will benefit The Jubilee Center.
The remaining $70,452.58 will be disbursed through the 2008 WOSM Outreach Ministries.
