For membership information, or changes to your mailing address, telephone numbers, or e-mail addresses, please contact: Celise Stephenson, Parish Secretary 214-363-5471 ext 223 cstephenson@saintmichael.org Baptized Member Any person baptized with water in the name of God the Father, Son and Holy Spirit may register with us to be counted as a baptized member of Saint Michael. All baptized Christians are welcome to partake of Holy Communion. Confirmed Communicant Any baptized person who has also received the “laying on of hands” by a Bishop of the Episcopal Church may register with us to be counted as a confirmed communicant member. All members are encouraged to be confirmed in the Episcopal church. Inquirers’ Class An evening program designed for adults who want to learn more about the Episcopal Church. Twice each year, Saint Michael offers an opportunity to investigate what it means to live in community as Christians. We examine topics of worship, the Bible, ethical decision making, stewardship, and prayer. Class participants may elect to receive the “laying on of hands” by the Bishop at a special church service at the conclusion of the course. All interested persons are invited and encouraged to attend. |
