The Reverend Dr. Robert S. Dannals
RECTOR

The Reverend Dr. Robert S. Dannals became the seventh rector of Saint Michael and All Angels in October 2007. A graduate of Florida State University, he majored in religion and psychology and received his M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary and a D.Min. from Drew University. He also received a doctorate in practical theology (with a dissertation on Dietrich Bonhoeffer) from the Graduate Theological Foundation. In addition to Christ Church in Greenville, he has served three Episcopal parishes in North Carolina: Christ Church, Charlotte; Trinity Church, Statesville; and Christ Church, New Bern. |

The Reverend Lisa C. Flores joined Saint Michael and All Angels as Associate for Pastoral Care in July, 2012. A native of New Orleans, Lisa did her undergraduate studies at Spring Hill College in Mobile, Alabama, worked as an events and media coordinator in sports promotion, then as a regional administrator in the restaurant industry. Prior to seminary at The General Theological Seminary in New York City, Lisa served as a youth minister at St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Akron, Ohio. Following her graduation from seminary and ordination in 2005, Lisa has had a distinguished ministry in Christian formation in parish, regional and national settings. Lisa served congregations in New York, Fernandina Beach (Jacksonville), Florida, Grosse Point, Michigan, and Memphis, Tennessee. |

The Reverend Brenda Sol

The Reverend Brenda Sol began her ministry at Saint Michael and All Angels in June, 2012 and focuses on Pastoral Care and programs for young adults. Brenda comes to Saint Michael as a member of the Lilly Fellows Program in Humanities and the Arts, which seeks to strengthen the quality and shape the character of church-related institutions of higher learning. She will be involved in the Lilly Fellows program through 2014. The Reverend Ms. Sol, a native of Montana, did her undergraduate studies at both the University of Oregon and Montana State University, completing her B.S. in Elementary Education. She continued her education by completing a Masters degree in psychology at Antioch University in Seattle, and began her theological studies at Seattle University’s School of Theology and Ministry. She completed her Master of Divinity degree at Virginia Theological Seminary in Alexandria, Virginia in May, 2012. |

The Reverend Neal Hern was born in St. Louis, MO. He received his Bachelor’s Degree from Westminister College and his Masters of Divinity from the Episcopal Theological School in Cambridge, Massachusetts. Neal was ordained in 1964 and “retired” to Saint Michael and All Angels in 2000. Neal has been very active in Recovery Ministries and spent four years on the Advisory Council, National Recovery Ministries of the Episcopal Church and six years as Chairman of the Diocese of Dallas Commission on Addiction and Recovery. He was the founder of the Recovery Advocates of Saint Michael. Married 34 years to his late wife, Billie, he has two children and five grandchildren. |

The Reverend Michael Dangelo

The Reverend Michael Dangelo joined Saint Michael and All Angels as a Sunday Associate in September 2012, six months after becoming the Chaplain at St. Mark's School. Prior to joining the St. Michael’s community, Father Dangelo served as Rector of St. Paul’s Episcopal Church in Lynnfield, Massachusetts. Previously, he served as Associate Rector for Congregational Growth and as Interim Assistant Director for Worship at Trinity Church in Boston, Massachusetts. He earned his bachelor’s degree from Wheaton College in Illinois, his Master of Divinity from Yale Divinity School, and a diploma in Anglican Studies from Berkeley Divinity School at Yale University. Father Dangelo lives with his wife Faye and their daughter Suzannah. |

The Reverend Pamela Theodore

The Reverend Pamela Theodore was born in Little Rock, AR, and grew up in Malvern, where she graduated from high school with high honors. After high school, she earned a B.S. degree at SMU in Dallas, TX, and later entered SMU's graduate program in political science. Following graduate school, Pamela entered Perkins School of Theology where she was a recipient of the Laura Kittenger Scholarship and graduated with a Masters of Divinity degree, Magna cum Laud. Her primary fields of study were biblical studies, ethics, and the pastoral care and counseling of women and children. Following graduation, Pamela taught spiritual formation at Perkins Seminary for four years. She was Ordained in 1997. Chaplain of the Saint Michael School (now merged with the Episcopal School of Dallas), Pamela also served as chaplain and teacher at the Saint James Episcopal Montessori School. Pamela rejoined the staff of Saint Michael and All Angels in 1997, becoming the first director of the Children and Family Ministry Department and associate rector for Children and Family Ministry. She continues to serve as Assisting Priest at Saint Michael and All Angels. Diocesan activities include serving on the Commission for Spiritual Formation, and chairing the Commission on Children and Violence. Pamela and her husband, Douglas Brent Theodore, have three boys. |
