Music Ministry
Music is an integral part of worship at Saint Michael. Many of our services offer unique choral singing opportunities for young children through adults. Also, the Music Department provides both an inspiring and meditative musical experience outside of the worship service throughout the year, consisting of performances of major sacred choral and orchestral works and organ recitals.

Children’s Choirs
New This Fall: The Children’s Choir Comes to Sunday School!
Beginning September 11, our Children’s Choir director, Ashley Westgate, will be visiting our elementary-grade Sunday school classes on rotation, visiting each class about once every five weeks. She’ll spend about 20 minutes with each class teaching them new music, and the following Sunday those children will have the opportunity to sing what they learned in class in our 9:00 church service. This is a unique collaboration of Christian education and music that we hope will bring some real enthusiasm around our children’s music, and offer more of our young ones the opportunity to participate in our Sunday worship.

Joy Mass Choir
Our youngest members of the congregation offer their musical gifts each week in the Joy Mass. Please note the addition of an optional rehearsal each Wednesday evening. For more information on children's choirs, please contact Ashley Westgate (, 214-914-0290).

Adult Choirs
Adult Choirs
Each Sunday our adult choirs offer a varied repertoire of choral music and provide the backbone of our congregational singing in the Church at 8:45 and 11:00. In addition to preparing the music for each Sunday, members of the adult choir enjoy the added privilege of working with some of the finest orchestral musicians in Dallas, who regularly enhance our music on feast days. Members also enjoy the benefits of learning the history of the music they sing and about the liturgy in which they participate.
