Advent Lessons & Carols: A Spirit-Filled Start to the Season
On Sunday, December 1, 2024, our parish gathered for the beloved Advent Lessons & Carols service, a cherished tradition that draws us into the heart of the Advent season.
Through the sacred pairing of scripture and song, we were invited to prepare our hearts as we watch and wait for the coming of Godâs Kingdom. The liturgy embodied the essence of Adventâanticipation, hope, and reflection. The carefully chosen readings illuminated the powerful prophecies and promises of Holy Scripture, while the choirâs moving musical selections, both familiar and new, deepened the eveningâs message of love and redemption.
From the opening notes to the final blessing, the service was a beautiful reminder of the true joy that awaits us at Christmas. Thank you to everyone who joined us and made this evening such a meaningful start to the season.
