EASTER PLATE OFFERING 2022 | APRIL 12- 17
LOCAL: NORTH DALLAS SHARED MINISTRIES
NDSM is an interfaith community of volunteers, partners, and collaborators providing charitable assistance to families in need. Their efforts are broadly grouped into three categories: life, health, and education. NDSM’s programs include: a health clinic, food pantry, ESL classes, and emergency assistance. Saint Michael has been a covenant congregation supporting North Dallas Shared Ministries for more than 30 years.
NATIONAL: EPISCOPAL RELIEF AND DEVELOPMENT - US DISASTER RESPONSE
This ministry works in areas across the United States that have been affected by disasters. By offering resources and training to help communities prepare for disasters and providing emergency support, we help vulnerable people and families to make a full and sustained recovery. Our monies will be earmarked for support of damage done by the December 2021 tornadoes in Tennessee and Kentucky and fires in Colorado.
INTERNATIONAL: AMISTAD FOR FAMILIES
Amistad for Families, which was started in 2014, confronts the root causes of violence and abuse that lead to family disintegration. This organization is located in Tiquipaya, Bolivia, the same district as Villa Amistad, and has the primary goal of strengthening families to prevent child abandonment to orphanages.
