Participants claim that EfM stands for Education for Meaning since the class increases understanding and deepens faith. EfM combines the study of Scripture, Christian history, and theology with personal experience, enabling participants to discern God’s presence in one’s life. EfM provides a supportive community where in-depth discussion of assigned readings encourages curiosity, invites people to examine their life, and promotes applications of faith.
