Work Hours: Full-Time (With occasional weekends and/or evenings)

WHOM WE SEEK:

This role requires strong interpersonal and written/verbal communication skills, the ability to analyze data to inform strategies to elevate revenue, and flexibility as a team player who believes in excellent customer service.

A key member of the Advancement team, the Advancement Manager will work with the Director of Advancement to plan and implement of all strategies to identify, cultivate, solicit, and steward individual donors to support the mission and operations of Saint Michael and All Angels.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Management of all operations related to fundraising, including the annual giving campaign, records maintenance, donor correspondence, reporting, and program coordination between collaborative ministry areas and outside vendors.
  • Ability to work with the donor management software, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of the Database.
  • Support preparation of best-in-class cultivation, solicitation, and stewardship materials
  • Create queries, exports, and reports (including document presentation and formatting) as requested.
  • Work with the Finance Department to ensure timely collection of all fundraising initiatives, including capital and annual pledges.
  • Build and maintain positive relationships with individual donors and volunteers.
  • Assist in the planning and implementation of parish wide stewardship events.
  • Monitor and report progress against goals, including producing monthly reports and analyses of statistics.
  • Contribute to the growth and development of the planned giving program and the Legacy Society.
  • This person must be able to meet parishioners and visitors with diplomacy and sensitivity and maintain utmost confidentiality of all information received and/or disclosed. Support SMAA activities and events as needed, occasionally to include nights and weekends; reliable transportation required
  • Perform other job activities as directed by supervisor.

  • Must demonstrate proficiency in Microsoft Word, MS Excel, and MS Teams. Donor database experience required. Will be expected to quickly become proficient in using the CRM to support development.
  • A Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent.
