DR. JODIE ELDER
Jodie Elder is a Licensed Professional Counselor-Supervisor (LPC-S) and a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT). She earned a Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from the University of Texas at Austin, a Master’s Degree in Professional Counseling from Texas State University-San Marcos, and a Doctorate in Counselor Education and Supervision from Texas A&M University-Commerce. Over the past 15 years, Jodie has provided counseling services for children, adolescents, families, couples, and individuals in various agency and private practice settings. In addition, Jodie helps to shape the next generation of counselors through her work as an Adjunct Faculty at Southern Methodist University, and she currently serves as a professional member of the Texas State Board of Examiners of Marriage and Family Therapists. She is a Certified Daring Way™ Facilitator and facilitates counseling work based on Dr. Brené Brown’s research. Jodie truly believes that we are built to be in connection with other people. Accordingly, we function best when our relationships are strong, and we struggle most when our connections are lost or are filled with tension and conflict. Through her work as a counselor, Jodie strives to help people strengthen their relationships and build solid foundations for full, joyful lives.
Paul Demer is a singer-songwriter, record producer, worship leader, and outreach musician. Paul connects with diverse audiences in living rooms, bars, churches, nursing homes, and hospitals in his hometown of Dallas, TX and across the country. He blends introspection, empathy, and wonder to craft melodically memorable and lyrically rich folk music, drawing frequent comparisons to both James Taylor and Jon Foreman. Demer invites audiences of various ages to locate their own stories in the ebb and flow of joy and heartache. You can hear his latest single, “Full To The Brim” wherever you stream your music.
