The Reverend Tim Kennedy Named Sunday Assistant
I am pleased to announce that the Rev. Tim Kennedy, Middle and Upper School Chaplain at the Episcopal School of Dallas, will join our clergy team as a Sunday Assistant. He will serve twice a month on Sunday mornings.
Tim moved to Dallas this summer from Washington, D.C., where he served as Chaplain and religion teacher at the Washington Episcopal School. A native of San Antonio, Tim graduated from Austin College and earned graduate degrees from George Washington and Yale Universities. Tim is currently a transitional deacon and will, God willing, be ordained to the priesthood in the coming months.
Prior to pursuing ordained ministry in The Episcopal Church, Tim served in the Executive Office of the President of the United States as Director of Continuity Policy for the Homeland Security Council. For the last ten years, Tim has been a board member for the Osgood Center for International Studies, a nonprofit educational organization that offers short-term foreign policy programs and experiential learning to students around the globe.
Please help me welcome Tim to Dallas and to Saint Michael!
The Reverend Dr. Christopher D. Girata, Rector
