Divorcing... A Different Kind of Loss
Led by The Rev. Tom Blackmon
Wednesdays, September 25 - November 20
6:30 - 8:30 p.m. in the Theater
Divorce is common in our society, so common perhaps that we may not acknowledge how serious a personal crisis it is. Divorce disrupts our homes and families, our valued friendships, and our emotional and financial health. Divorce is a spiritual crisis, too. It evokes so many intense and difficult emotions – grief and hurt, anger and shame, guilt and relief – especially the guilt that comes when relief is felt.
Beginning September 25, 2019 and continuing on Wednesday evenings through November 20, Saint Michael and All Angels will offer a safe and honest place for learning, healing, and support.
Attendance, preparation, confidentiality, and prayerfulness are the “requirements” for this clergy-led group.
Once online registration is complete, the textbook will be available for you to pick up at the south reception area. Please read the first four chapter before the first meeting and come prepared to share briefly your own story.
