Anglican Ethics: A People Shaped By Font and Table

Saint Paul advises us to reflect on “whatever is true, whatever is honorable, whatever is just, whatever is pure, whatever is pleasing, whatever is commendable” (Phil 4.8). Oftentimes, however, we struggle to discern what is truly good, and our attempts to do so can lead to disagreement and even conflict. How are we to discern what is good in a complex, changing, and pluralistic world? Is there such a thing as a distinctly Anglican way of looking at ethical issues? This series will introduce us to Christian forms of moral awareness and reasoning, and thereby help us live more faithful lives as people committed to justice and peace.
