After God created Adam, God stated that “it is not good” that the human be alone. As people in Genesis work out how to be “in family,” they are at times extraordinarily dysfunctional or remarkably wonderful. What is constant is God’s continual redemption of God’s people as they learn how to relate to one another through successive generations in Genesis.
