The Promised Land: Living for God Where Culture is Influenced (Afternoon Class)
Thu, September 5 @ 11:00 am
Lomo 201 (M/O & Form) – Conference Room
This Bible study will center on the gift of the Promised Land to Israel and the impact it had on the people of Israel and their mission. We will consider the Jewish people, Abraham and his arrival in this land, the crossing of the Jordan and the first rulers of the people called judges. By looking at the place where God put the Jewish people, we will discover a profound relevance of the land to understanding the biblical text and the calling of Israel. We will also consider why God put you where he did and the opportunities he has placed before you as a follower of Christ. To sign up, email Tim Smith at [email protected].
