The Rev. Dr. Christopher D. Girata
The Rev. Dr. Christopher D. Girata was called to be the eighth Rector of Saint Michael and All Angels in 2016. Previously, Chris served as Rector of Calvary Episcopal Church in downtown Memphis, Tennessee, as Associate Rector at St. Luke’s in Birmingham, as a seminarian at The National Cathedral in Washington, D.C., and St. John’s in Chevy Chase, MD.
Bi-monthly, Chris writes a column for Katy Trail Weekly. These articles cover timely topics from gratitude and love to success and the future. In these columns, he uses a real-life personal example and turns it into something to ponder. On Wednesdays, Chris leads a Bible study titled Rector’s Bible Study that is also developed into a podcast. He has been leading these weekly classes since its inception in 2017.
Chris holds degrees from Stetson University, Emory University, the Virginia Theological Seminary, and his doctorate from Duke University. He is recognized as a leader in the Episcopal Church, presenting regularly at church-wide conferences, seminars and retreats, and the Episcopal Parish Network.
Chris is a native of Florida, a classically trained musician, and an amateur cook. He and his wife, Nicole, have three children: Brayden, Layna, and Annemarie.

The Rev. Kenneth H. Brannon has served as Vice Rector since 2019. In organizational terms, he functions as the “Integrator” at Saint Michael, overseeing the staff, ensuring smooth operations, establishing healthy processes, and supporting the culture set by the Rector and Vestry.
Ken grew up in Mandeville, Louisiana, went to high school in South India, received a B.A. in Psychology from Wheaton College (IL), received an M.A. in Drama Therapy from New York University, and received an M.Div. from Virginia Theological Seminary (cum laude).
Ken was ordained a priest in the Diocese of New York in 2003. Before coming to Saint Michael, he served four years as Associate Rector of Church of St. Barnabas in Irvington, NY, and twelve years as Rector of St. Thomas Episcopal Church in Sun Valley, ID.
Ken is married to Rachel, a psychotherapist in private practice, and they have two adult children, Lucy and Isaac.

Senior Associate for Discipleship
The Reverend Dr. Andrew Grosso joined the Saint Michael and All Angels team in March of 2021. He has also served at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia, SC, Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, WI, Trinity Episcopal Church in Atchison, KS, the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry in Topeka, KS, and Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka, KS.
Andrew is originally from Michigan and completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. He began his graduate studies at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, where he completed an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies. His doctoral studies were in the areas of systematic and philosophical theology, and he received his PhD from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. In preparation for ordination, Andrew completed a Master of Divinity at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He and his wife, Diana, live in Mesquite.

The Rev. Greg Pickens worked in executive search and as an Applications Manager before being approved for seminary. Graduating from Nashotah House with an M.Div. Degree, he was ordained Deacon in 2005 and Priest in 2006. While Rector of Saint Mark’s, Irving, Greg served the Diocese of Dallas by holding several appointed positions. In 2011, he was called to Saint Michael and has since served as Associate for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries; Associate for Operations; and finally, in 2016, Associate for Pastoral Care.
Greg enjoys photography, reading, cooking, and traveling with his wife Noralyn and daughter Anastasia.

Associate for Mission & Outreach
The Rev. Robin H. Hinkle is Saint Michael’s Associate for Mission & Outreach. Throughout her career, Robin has been deeply involved in collaborative community efforts to address two major issues: poverty and addiction.
Prior to her call to ministry, Robin practiced law for 15 years as a commercial litigator. She then became an entrepreneur, creating a company that advocated for long-term treatment for the disease of addiction and opening a clinic in Boise, Idaho. She has an accounting degree from Auburn University and earned her law degree at Tulane University. She attended seminary at the University of the South at Sewanee and graduated in 2015. She served her first seven years of ordained ministry in churches in Alabama.
Robin is married to Scott, and her daughter Sadie is a mechanical engineer in Dallas. Robin loves throwing pottery, traveling, her two Cavaliers, Abi and Moses, and her very large extended family.

Associate for Contemporary Worship
Bob Johnston is a bi-vocational priest who helps with contemporary and other services. He has served at corporate-size churches for more than 20 years. He has graduate degrees in theology, law, and business from SMU and an engineering degree from Baylor University. As part of seminary, he served for a year at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. Bob is originally from Victoria, Texas. He has twin boys who are in college. When not working in the church or his law firm, he enjoys running, and hiking.

Associate for Spiritual Growth
The Rev. Mary Lessmann serves as Associate for Spiritual Growth at Saint Michael. Prior to joining Saint Michael, Mary served as Vicar of Good Samaritan Episcopal Church in Dallas. Previously she served as Associate Rector for St. Andrew’s Episcopal Church in McKinney, Texas.
Mary, a CPA in her former life, was ordained in 2009. A native Texan, she holds a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from Texas A&M University and an M.Div. from Perkins School of Theology at SMU.
Mary’s passion is teaching and preaching, examining the connection between scripture and our lives. Her teaching inhabits the space between formation and pastoral care. Mary is an Enneagram specialist with 25 years of experience, a workshop presenter, and a leader of pilgrimages. When not in Dallas, Mary and her husband Russ can be found exploring a new locale or hiking a mountain.

The Rev. Canon René Somodevilla joined the clergy staff at Saint Michael and All Angels as a Sunday Assistant in September 2018. He has also served as Interim Associate for Pastoral Care and Interim Associate for Worship & Liturgy during his time at Saint Michael. A Cuban native, Fr. René came to the United States in 1960. After living in Miami, Florida and Wichita Falls, Texas, he received his graduate degree in Clinical Social Work in 1972 from the University of Texas at Arlington. In 1984, he graduated from seminary at the Anglican School of Theology and was ordained to the priesthood by January of 1985. He has served at Church of the Ascension in Dallas, St. Barnabas’ in Garland, St. Elisabeth’s in Memphis, Tennessee, and St. Andrew’s in Collierville, Tennessee. He was Canon to the Ordinary in the Diocese of West Tennessee, Interim Canon to the Bishop Pro Tempore in the Diocese of Dallas, and Assistant to the Rector at Holy Trinity by the Lake in Heath. Most recently, he served on a part-time basis at Church of the Incarnation in Dallas.
Long-time members of Saint Michael, René and his wife, Nancy, have been married for 26 years and have six children and ten grandchildren between them. Nancy is a speech pathologist working for a charter school and serves the Dallas Independent School District as a speech therapist. At Saint Michael, Nancy’s ministry includes lay leadership for Pastoral Care and missional initiatives such as Project Moses.

The Rev. Nate Bostian re-joined the Saint Michael clergy in August 2021 as a Sunday Assistant. Fr. Nate lives in Dallas Texas with his wife Kim, and three children: Elise, Taggart, and Vera. Since 2021, Fr. Nate has been the senior chaplain at The Episcopal School of Dallas. From 2010-2021, he served as head chaplain at TMI – The Episcopal School of Texas. Prior to that, he was Episcopal Chaplain at Southern Methodist University and director of young adult ministry here at Saint Michael and All Angels.
Fr. Nate is a veteran of a decade of parish ministry with families, youth, and young adults, as well as nearly seven years as a Social Worker, ministering primarily to runaway and abused children. He received his Master’s of Divinity from Perkins School of Theology in 2008, and his Bachelor’s degree in history from Texas A&M in 1996. Nate’s research passions include the intersection of spirituality and science, as well as the relationship between Christianity and world religions, along with examining the philosophical and ethical underpinnings of our culture and worldview. With a strong background in finance and nonprofit fundraising, Caroline Moore is passionate about leading the fundraising efforts related to the bold vision outlined in Saint Michael’s historic $65M Building our Future capital campaign. Previously, she served as Chief Advancement Officer at Trinty Park Conservancy and as a Development Officer at Parkland specializing in principal and major gifts for the $150M, I Stand for Parkland campaign.
Caroline holds a B.A. from Davidson College and attended The Hockaday School in Dallas. She has served on the Davidson’s Board of Visitors and The Hockaday School Alumnae Board. She is an active member at Saint Michael, having served as a Good Shepherd and a Confirmation teacher. Caroline is blessed with a wonderful husband Doug. Her daughter Elizabeth resides in Dallas, her son George and his wife Victoria live in Houston with their Bernedoodle, Nasher. Caroline enjoys traveling and spending time with family and dear friends.

As Director of Stewardship, Martha is responsible for all aspects of the annual Building the Kingdom campaign. Martha brings a strong background in local fundraising, most recently serving as the Managing Director of Development for Teach For America Dallas-Fort Worth. In this role, she raised over $3 million annually to support the recruitment of teachers for local public schools. Prior to this, Martha led the instructional hiring team for Uplift Education.
Martha is a fourth-generation Texan who grew up in Louisville, Kentucky. She returned to Dallas after graduating from Vanderbilt University. She sits on the Leadership Council of the Junior League of Dallas and is a member of the Advisory Board for the Principal Impact Collaborative at UNT Dallas. Martha and her husband Wade live in the Swiss Avenue Historic District with their corgi. Martha enjoys visiting art museums, traveling, and spending time with family, especially her two nephews.

In her role as Advancement Manager, Caroline Wilks focuses on prospect research and data analysis for the capital campaign. Caroline was promoted to this position as a result of her high level of attention to detail and data analysis abilities demonstrated while in the Assistant to Advancement role.
Caroline brings 25 years of experience in nonprofit work, including time spent as a bilingual family ministry director, parish evangelist, and missionary stationed in numerous locations across North America.
Caroline grew up in Arlington, Texas, and holds an Associate’s degree in liberal arts from Brookhaven College. She also holds a Parish Catechetical Leader certification, awarded by the Franciscan University of Steubenville after completion of a five-year program. Caroline and her husband Tony live in Old Town Lewisville with their daughter Evelyn. When she is not busy with work or family, Caroline is passionate about community volunteering.

Meredith brings marketing and communications experience working for a number of organizations, including the Dallas Regional Chamber, AT&T, Texas Medical Association in Austin, and National Republican Congressional Committee in Washington, DC. Meredith has a passion for connecting parishioners and visitors into the life of the church through effective communications strategies and showcasing opportunities for them to grow together in their faith.
Married at Saint Michael, Meredith and her husband Mike hold a special place in their hearts for this church. They are blessed with three young boys, Graham, Will, and Thomas and their never-ending energy.

As Digital Marketing Manager, Sarah covers our social media, email marketing, website content, digital storytelling, and all things digital. Sarah brings a strong knowledge of industry knowledge and a passion for digital storytelling.
Sarah holds a B.S. in Digital Media Innovation (DMI), with a minor in Business Administration and International Communication from Texas State University. While at Texas State, she realized there was a lack of education for what is now known as DMI, and conferred with other professors who had similar concerns to create the current program, ultimately becoming one of the first six students to enroll and graduate as a DMI major.
Sarah also holds a Master of Science in Digital Marketing from Full Sail University. She graduated Summa Cum Laude and received an award for her Advanced Digital Marketing Strategies.
In her free time, Sarah enjoys reading and spending time with her dogs, Maverick and Zoe.

Manager of Audio, Visual, and Lighting (AVL)
Brian joined Saint Michael in 2022 as an AVL Technician before accepting the role of Manager of AVL in 2023. Before Saint Michael, Brian spent three years working in logistics followed by six years in accounting while he pursued his passion for audio engineering and post-production. He has worked on many audio-focused projects over the years, including post-production work for an indie film. He also served as a recording engineer and has produced, mixed, and mastered music for various artists around Dallas-Fort Worth. Brian holds an Associate of Arts degree with a focus in audio engineering and audio for video from Collin College.
Originally from Ohio, Brian has called Texas home for the last 10 years. He enjoys playing guitar, supporting the Michigan Wolverines, Pittsburgh Steelers, and Dallas Stars, and spending time with his wife Allison, and their dogs Louis and Bodhi.

Jenna Pitman joined the Saint Michael Communications team as a Graphic Designer in October of 2020. She received her Bachelor of Fine Arts with a concentration in Graphic Design from Baylor University. Jenna assists Saint Michael with many different communication materials including, The Archangel, sermon series art, directional signage, handouts, and more. She is passionate about bold design that makes an impactful statement and projects that will challenge her.
Originally from the Chicago area, Jenna has called the Lone Star State home for the past 8 years. She is a fan of all things Baylor sports (Sic ’em), reading, and is trying to visit all of Texas’ state parks. She lives in Carrollton with her husband, Josh, their dog, Gertie, and they are expecting their first child in November 2024.

Carter is a graphic designer and studio artist originally from San Diego, California. He received his Bachelor of Fine Arts with an emphasis in Graphic Design in 2021 from Baylor University before moving to Dallas to expand his career in the graphic design world.
In his free time, Carter enjoys all types of travel for the purpose of studying art, architecture, and the culinary arts. The creative and community elements embodied by Saint Michael are what excited Carter to join the Communications team in 2023.

Rob grew up in San Antonio, attended UTSA, and graduated from the University of Texas in Austin. He earned his CPA license while working for a Big 8 audit firm in Dallas. After working in real estate accounting and owning a construction company, in 2001, he started working for a large church in North Dallas. In 2008, he joined the staff at Saint Michael. He has now worked in church financial offices for over 20 years and enjoys this way of serving the Lord. In his words, “The parishioners and staff at Saint Michael are the best.” Rob and his wife, Lisa, have 2 grown sons, in Colorado and Arizona. In his downtime, Rob enjoys DIY projects around the house and wrenching on a car in the driveway.

Armed with a robust academic foundation in Finance and HR, she earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration with a minor in Computer Information Systems from Medgar Evers College in New York. Her expertise includes outstanding abilities in research, analysis, and reporting. She contributes by assisting with the parish database, supporting the Foundation’s finance team, and playing an essential role in coordinating and bolstering efforts within Human Resources and the Finance Department.
She delights in family time, traveling, and engaging in DIY projects. Committed to community service, Lynelle is actively involved in volunteering with her sorority. Before joining Saint Michael, she accumulated experience as a Benefits Coordinator and Finance Analyst.

As an Accountant, her career began achieving her first job with the accounting firm Deloitte, Haskins & Sells in Ohio, and remained with them until relocating to Texas.
Angelia has obtained over 25 years of accounting experience with many Texas church ministries. She currently celebrates a milestone of over 15+ years at Saint Michael & All Angels Episcopal Church.
Angelia loves volunteering at church in many capacities, gym exercising, and competing in dance competitions both individually & with a TX competition dance group, winning many awards. She also enjoys rooting for her favorite team, the Dallas Mavericks. For relaxation, she enjoys events with her nieces and nephew supporting their many competitive dance and sports activities. While enjoying her favorite weekend companion, ‘Levi’ a Golden Doodle.

Marilu has an extensive accounting background starting with BDO Seidman in Public Accounting, Restaurant Management Accounting, and most recently, Commerical Real Estate. Marilu grew up in Dallas, graduated from Hillcrest High School, and attended the University of Arkansas in Fayetteville.
Marilu is an avid hiker and is always looking for new trails to explore. She has two children and 4 grandchildren that keep her very busy outside of her work here at Saint Michael and All Angels.

Susan is a multifaceted professional who has a strong background in Revenue Cycle Management, A/R, and payment posting. Her primary work experience includes over 25 years at healthcare organizations CBO’s. Susan made history as the 1st black/female-owned craft store in the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex. She is also a proud graduate of the “Goldman Sachs 10K small businesses program (Dallas Cohort 23).
Susan is a native Louisiana girl but considers “The Great State of Texas” her home since she’s been here for over 32 years. She has a passion for serving others, marriage ministry, and being a prayer warrior. Some of her favorite things include diy crafting, hosting family events, visiting coffee shops, reading, and watching HGTV. Susan also loves traveling and spending quality time with her husband Howard. She is a proud Mother to 3 adult children, Grandmother of 10, and dog mom to Ranger, a 60lb Golden Doodle.

Tim grew up in Kansas City, Missouri, the son of a United Methodist Pastor. A graduate of Tulane University and Perkins School of Theology at SMU, he also received his doctorate in Church Growth and Renewal from Fuller Seminary in Pasadena, CA.
Tim served in a variety of United Methodist churches throughout the New Orleans area for 28 years. He returned to Dallas in 2018. With 35 years of experience in ministry, he is also a certified Church Growth consultant and a Navigator for Church Unique, which facilitates revisioning for local churches. Tim’s spiritual gifts include leadership and teaching, and his strengths include visioning, strategic planning and discernment. His passion is adult discipleship and spiritual transformation and empowering the church to reach new people for Jesus Christ. Tim loves teaching the Bible, helping people to discern its original context and meaning and equipping them to apply it in their lives.

Meghan joined the Saint Michael staff in 2023. She is a native New Mexican who left the Land of Enchantment to attend Wheaton College and studied psychology & English literature. Although her beginnings were in the Presbyterian church, she has been a member of the Episcopal Church for 30 years and finds herself very grateful for her formation in the ways of Anglican Christianity.
Her greatest loves are her own 4 children and the church –therefore ministry to children and family is a natural fit! Meg’s desire is to equip mothers & fathers to feel as comfortable praying with and for their kids as they are feeding them dinner — because a growing life of faith happens daily!

Sam began serving as our Director of Youth Ministry in 2023. Working in student ministry for the last 6 years, Sam has a passion for developing relationships and equipping youth with biblical and theological tools for faith development. Before he and his wife, Elaine, moved to Dallas, Sam served as a Residential Chaplain for students at Baylor University and Pastoral Associate at DaySpring Baptist Church in Waco, TX.
Sam holds an M.Div. from George W. Truett Theological Seminary and received his Bachelor’s in Great Texts of the Western Tradition from Baylor University.
A lover of coffee and literature, you’ll often find Sam concocting the perfect pour-over or knee deep in a Russian tome on the weekends.

Cydni Joubert, our Assistant Director of Children & Family Ministry, is a Dallas native who ventured to New York to earn her BA in Psychology and MA in Sociology from St. John’s University in Queens. With a background focused on working with college students in career readiness and faith formation, Cydni brings a wealth of experience to her role. She is known for her magnetic personality, bright mind, and humble spirit. An adoring aunt to several nieces and nephews, Cydni fosters a vibrant and nurturing community.

Assistant for Mission & Outreach
Having moved from Atlanta to begin her position as Assistant to Mission & Outreach, Morgan helps plan and coordinate Saint Michael’s volunteer opportunities with community partner organizations. She applies her background as a public relations coordinator and marketing manager to volunteer recruitment and communications.
Morgan received a B.S. in Public Relations with a minor in Social Media Management from Belmont University. While earning her college degree, she completed internships with event-planning focuses and developed her skills for strategic communication, organization and data collection, and interpretation. She was able to inform the programming of the school fitness center with her research project on the center’s existing offerings. Professors recognized her for her gift of writing.
Outside of Saint Michael, Morgan pursues creative writing and enjoys weightlifting, running, and making homemade chocolate. However, her top priority is spending quality time with her husband, Luke, and her pets, Sansa and Piper.

As Director of Music, Tom Hammond-Davies leads the music program as professional and volunteer singers of the choir, choristers, and cherubs share their musical gifts, leading inspiring congregational hymns and service music. They also provide anthems, worship songs, and major choral works from several choral and musical genres and periods. His extensive experience in choral conducting has positioned Tom to continue and strengthen the excellent artistic work of the Saint Michael music ministries.
Recently, Tom served as the Director of Music at Wadham College, Oxford, known for its strong musical tradition, particularly through the Holywell Music Room, the oldest purpose-built concert hall in Europe, and Wadham’s highly regarded chapel choir. Tom is also a professional countertenor, notably with the Choir of New College Oxford, and has appeared in many of the major venues across the world, including at the BBC Proms at the Royal Albert Hall and the Sistine Chapel in the Vatican.
Off the podium, Tom’s life story is as rich and diverse as his musical career. Born in London to British-American parents, Tom’s early years were shaped as a chorister by the choral and organ traditions of London and a Benedictine school in Sussex. Justin Brooks is a worship music leader, multi-instrumentalist, and songwriter/composer based in Dallas, Texas where he serves as Director of Contemporary Music at Saint Michael and All Angels.
Holding a degree in Music Business from Dallas Baptist University, he has released five albums and numerous singles of original songs, hymns, and psalm settings. In addition to work as a speaker, church music consultant, and songwriting retreat leader, he continues to record, perform, and tour with his family as part of the folk/country trio, Rosco Johnny (for Nashville-based Southern Skye Records) and with liturgical music collective, Liturgical Folk. As a songwriter and composer, Justin’s work has been sung in churches locally and abroad.
When not leading music, you can find Justin at his barbecue smoker, adding to his vinyl record collection, or telling groaner dad jokes to his family. He and his wife, Tiffany, have three children: Taylor, Grayson, and Lincoln.

Associate Director of Music and Organist
Educated in the Netherlands and United States, Robert August has an extensive background in keyboard performance and conducting. He previously held music director positions at Christ Church Cathedral, Hartford, CT, and First Church in Boston. He has performed extensively in Europe and the United States and has toured and recorded with the Harvard University Choir, the Harvard Baroque Chamber Orchestra, the Texas Boys Choir, the Texas Camerata, and has made guest appearances with the Fort Worth Symphony.
During his doctoral studies at New England Conservatory, he served as Assistant University Organist and Choirmaster at Harvard’s Memorial Church Music, and Tutor at Harvard’s Dunster House. His doctoral thesis, An Old Look at Schumann’s Organ Works, was published in 2010, celebrating the composer’s 200th birthday. Robert often concertizes with his wife, Dolores, who received a doctorate in Historical Performance (traverso) from Boston University. They have two children: Robert John and Melody Grace.

Catherine Seveney (formerly Catherine Hinkley) grew up in Mesquite, TX and was a member of the Region 3 All-Region Choir for multiple years and a member of the Texas All-State Treble Choir during her Senior Year. She attended Texas A&M University Commerce where she received her Bachelor’s degree in Music Education in 2016.
Before coming to Saint Michael, Catherine was a choir director in Mesquite ISD for 5 years. In her free time, she loves to spend time with her pets (a dog named Blaise and three cats named Lily, Bella, and Percy). Catherine lives in Garland with her husband, Harrison.

As Director of Early Childhood Music, Shelby leads music classes with all students at Saint Michael Episcopal School, directs the Cherub Choir, and sings with the Saint Michael Adult Choir. Previously, Shelby taught elementary and high school music classes, and taught private voice, piano and guitar lessons for adults and children.
She graduated with a Bachelor of Music (Vocal Performance) degree from Simpson College in 2012 and discovered her passion for teaching young people the joy of music in 2015. In her time as a music educator, Shelby has had the privilege of organizing dozens of recitals, pageants, concerts and school programs, and enjoys helping people of all ages find deeper connection through music.
In her free time, Shelby loves to knit, care for her houseplants and read a good mystery.

Originally from Overland Park, Kansas, Samuel Sweet attended the University of North Texas for his Bachelor of Music degree (‘18) in choral music education. From 2018-2020, Samuel studied with the Director of Choral Activities Dr. Allen Hightower, music education faculty Dr. Jessica Nápoles, vocal pedagogy faculty Dr. Stephen F. Austin, as well as international choral figures such as Dr. Kristina MacMullen, Dr. Richard Sparks, and Dr. Joshua Habermann to complete his Master’s of Music in Choral Conducting and Vocal Pedagogy (‘20).
In addition to his experience as a conductor, and educator, he is an active composer published by reputable houses such as E.C. Schirmer, and Classical Vocal Reprints.
While holding his position at Saint Michael, Samuel is also the Director of Choral Activities at North Garland High School. Besides making music, you can often find Samuel running 5K’s, exploring the Dallas restaurant scene, and taking care of various houseplants.

Colleen started as a volunteer at Saint Michael serving with the Contemporary Service. In early 2019, after leaving a long career in real estate, Colleen began working with the Operations department on a part-time basis. In September 2019, Colleen was hired as the Director of Operations. Most of Colleen’s professional expertise is in valuations and appraisals, but through her desire to learn and lead, she found herself in business operations, analysis, and process improvement roles.
Colleen has resided in Texas for 37 years by way of Michigan and New Jersey. Colleen loves to spend time with family and friends. Colleen hosts a monthly dinner for 20 of her closest friends who have been in community together for more than 25 years. Cooking is a passion and she loves to serve others in this way.

Robert Butler brings extensive operational expertise across multiple industries to his role as Director of Facilities. His career includes significant tenures at Carrington & Coleman, Union Pacific RR, Blockbuster, and Planned Parenthood, where he built 18 healthcare centers. Educated at Richland College and North Texas University, Robert leverages his knowledge and experience to ensure smooth day-to-day operations.
Robert is from Hamilton Park, Dallas, TX, and as the youngest of eight siblings, Robert values family deeply and cherishes his connections with his six sisters and one brother. Robert and his wife Lucinda have three children, one very well-loved grandchild, Kennedy May, and a dog, Cinco. Outside of work, he enjoys working out, gardening, spending quality time with family and friends, and developing a better relationship with Christ.

Melisa joined Saint Michael and All Angels in October of 2021 as the Assistant to Operations. and promoted to Operations Manager in 2022. Primary responsibilities surrounding construction are keeping detailed notes, scheduling and logistics. Other duties include overseeing Columbarium Niches; assisting with Human Resources Policies and Procedures; interviewing and onboarding new employees and working closely with the Director of Operations and Facilities in the operations of the church and Lomo offices.
Melisa has a strong background in administration, human resources, project management and scheduling. She attended Tyler Junior College and then went on to Texas A&M in College Station.
Originally from Colorado, Melisa considers herself a Texas transplant as she has lived in Texas longer than Colorado. Melisa enjoys nature, reading and learning, but most of all spending time with family. Melisa has a son, daughter, son-in-law, daughter in-law and 5 grandchildren.

BJ relocated to the Dallas/Fort Worth area in July 2022 from Casper, WY, where she was born and raised. In August 2023, she joined Saint Michael and All Angels as the Assistant to Operations, and she has recently taken on the additional role of Receptionist. BJ is excited to grow in her roles within the church. She brings a diverse background, having held administrative positions in the oil and gas industry, human services, and case management for children with special needs.
BJ earned a full-ride volleyball scholarship to Western Nebraska Community College, where she completed a 2-year degree in elementary education, and later obtained a bachelor’s degree in psychology from the University of Wyoming. In her free time, she enjoys outdoor activities, spending time with her gentle giant of a dog, Iris, and going to the movies.

Edgar’s duties and work responsibilities consist of taking various roles such as event organization, maintenance, cleaning, and even coffee and drinks preparation for meetings and other events reflecting his willingness to serve and engage with staff and parishioners here at Saint Michael.
Edgar completed his high school education in Dallas Texas, after that, Edgar attended East Field Community College in Mesquite, TX where he graduated and received his Auto Body Technology certificate.
He loves to travel and explore new places and cultures. In his free time, Edgar enjoys drawing, playing soccer, and video games. Outside of his professional commitments, Edgar is a devoted father who loves spending quality time with his son Thiago.

Tish was baptized at Saint Michael, attended Highland Park High School and Southern Methodist University, graduating with a BBA in Marketing and Organizational Behavior & Business Policy. Prior to joining our staff in 2009, Tish was a Marketing Director and Manager of National Advertising for a Dallas-based REIT and an Associate for an online training and development company.
As Director of Parish Life, Tish coordinates church-wide events and oversees the church’s event management system. She plans staff appreciation events, is a member of Ministry L10, a liaison for the Women of Saint Michael, and part of the Architectural Review Committee. Tish loves that her role allows her to use analytical skills alongside her gifts of hospitality and creativity.
Tish and her husband Matthew have raised their daughters, Madison and Harper, here at Saint Michael and are regular attendees of the 9 a.m. traditional service. In their free time, the Visinskys love to travel.

Tricia is a lifelong Saint Michael-ite, baptized, confirmed and married here. She served as President of the Women of Saint Michael, served many years on the Women of Saint Michael Gifts Committee, and was a member of the Rector Search and Transition Committee. She and her husband, Tom were involved with Children and Family Ministry and Youth as their three children grew up, and spent years coordinating the youth confirmation program. Tricia says she got her dream job in her fifties when she was asked to head up Saint Michael’s Farmers Market. She and Tom have been patrons of the market since the day it opened, they love to eat and cook, and they believe in the mission of the market: to be an extension of the church’s fellowship. Outside the church, Tricia drives Meals on Wheels, is a gift wrapper at the Exchange and loves to travel and to spend time with her growing family.

The Rev. Greg Pickens worked in executive search and as an Applications Manager before being approved for seminary. Graduating from Nashotah House with an M.Div. Degree, he was ordained Deacon in 2005 and Priest in 2006. While Rector of Saint Mark’s, Irving, Greg served the Diocese of Dallas by holding several appointed positions. In 2011, he was called to Saint Michael and has since served as Associate for Children, Youth, and Family Ministries; Associate for Operations; and finally, in 2016, Associate for Pastoral Care.
Greg enjoys photography, reading, cooking, and traveling with his wife Noralyn and daughter Anastasia.

As Director of Engagement, Rob Springer-Kyle works in collaboration with all areas of ministry while focusing on three core ministry groups: Welcome-Greeter Ministry, Good Shepherd Ministry, and Young Adults Ministry. Prior to Saint Michael, Rob served as a small group pastor, worship leader, and church planter in Indiana, California, and Florida. He also served as a short-term missionary in Gyor, Hungry.
Rob received his undergraduate degree in Business Administration and Marketing from Baylor University and a Master of Divinity with an emphasis in worship renewal from Regen University. Rob is a Desert Storm USCM Veteran and served during his time at Baylor University.
Rob has four sons Noah, Samuel, Elijah, and Levi. He is passionate about diversity, inclusivity, relationship building, and collaboration. Oh, and having a good conversation over a good cup of coffee is a core value.

With a background in social services, Katherine Bowen joined the Saint Michael and All Angels staff in 2001. Katherine held several staff positions before being asked to join the Pastoral Care Ministries team in 2007. Through life’s joys and challenges, Katherine helps coordinate and support the efforts of Pastoral Care Ministries leaders and volunteers.
Katherine holds a B.S. in Rehabilitation Studies, with minors in Social Work and Psychology from the University of North Texas.
In her free time, Katherine enjoys family time (especially game nights and volunteering together), travel, walks with friends, and home tours.

Celise was hired on All Hallow’s Eve 1994 as your Parish Secretary, at times known as the Registrar or Archivist. She records for posterity the activities of the church: baptisms, confirmations, marriages, transfers in and out, inactivations and reactivations, deaths and burials. She computes parish statistics, including numbers and types of services, and attendance. She also provides software training to the staff.
Celise attended Stephen F. Austin State University, known for its forestry and teaching programs. She never darkened the doors of those schools, but she did pass regularly through the computer science building due to its usefulness as a shortcut to the theater where she spent enough time to earn a degree. She enjoys reading, writing, and arithmetic. Her favorite childhood book is A Wrinkle in Time. She still maintains a firm belief that someday, perhaps on her last day, she will travel by Tesseract.

Bhavnita Masih joined the Saint Michael staff in September of 2021. As Executive Assistant to the Rector, Bhav’s primary responsibilities include managing the Rector’s calendar and schedule, supporting the Wardens and the Vestry, and supporting special projects. Bhav is best described as an includer and encourager and is passionate about connecting people, building bridges, and bringing out the gifts in others.
Bhav attended the University of Texas in Austin, Texas, earning her Bachelor’s in Speech Communication. She is also a Certified Administrative Professional (CAP) with over 10 years of experience as an Executive Assistant to C-Suite executives. In addition, she brings with her many years of ministry experience working with family and children’s ministry.
Bhav considers herself a Texan through and through despite an early upbringing in England and Canada. Bhav met her now husband, Neelesh, while at UT Austin, and they have been blessed with three children, Joshua, Rebekah, and Daniel. In her downtime, Bhav’s hobbies include painting, reading, organizing, and watching movies with her family.

Shannon is passionate about communication and brings her expertise to support the leadership team at the church. Her dedication to her work and her community is guided by her strong faith in Christ, and she strives to make a positive impact in everything she does.
Born and raised in Carrollton, Texas, Shannon moved back to Dallas after college and got married in the spring of 2024. She now lives in Uptown with her husband, Justin, and their golden retriever mix, Ellie. In her free time, she enjoys traveling with her husband, spending time with family and eating Mexican food.

Outside of work, she has a passion for reading historical novels and staying active through exercise. A sports enthusiast, Bonita loves cheering on her favorite teams: the Dallas Stars, Dallas Mavericks, Texas Rangers, and Kansas City Chiefs. The Reverend Dr. Andrew Grosso joined the Saint Michael and All Angels team in March of 2021. He has also served at Trinity Episcopal Cathedral in Columbia, SC, Nashotah House Theological Seminary in Nashotah, WI, Trinity Episcopal Church in Atchison, KS, the Bishop Kemper School for Ministry in Topeka, KS, and Grace Episcopal Cathedral in Topeka, KS.
Andrew is originally from Michigan and completed his undergraduate studies in Psychology at Calvin College in Grand Rapids, MI. He began his graduate studies at Wheaton College in Wheaton, IL, where he completed an MA in Interdisciplinary Studies. His doctoral studies were in the areas of systematic and philosophical theology, and he received his PhD from Marquette University in Milwaukee, WI. In preparation for ordination, Andrew completed a Master of Divinity at the School of Theology of the University of the South in Sewanee, TN. He and his wife, Diana, live in Mesquite.

Bob Johnston is a bi-vocational priest who helps with contemporary and other services. He has served at corporate-size churches for more than 20 years. He has graduate degrees in theology, law, and business from SMU and an engineering degree from Baylor University. As part of seminary, he served for a year at Holy Trinity Brompton in London. Bob is originally from Victoria, Texas. He has twin boys who are in college. When not working in the church or his law firm, he enjoys running, and hiking.

Dianne was born and raised in Rochester Hills, Michigan. As a cradle Episcopalian she became a member of the Saint Michael upon moving to Dallas to begin her nursing career as an Operating Room Nurse at Parkland Memorial Hospital.
Dianne and her husband Timothy were married in Saint Michael Chapel with both of their daughters being baptized and confirmed at Saint Michael. Dianne joined the Saint Michael Acolyte Corps in the early 1990s, which lead to becoming a full time member of the Worship and Liturgy staff in 2008.
As a member of the Worship & Liturgy staff Dianne’s responsibilities have been wide and varied, but now focus on the preparation of all worship bulletins and media related to worship services at Saint Michael. Dianne is also involved with the Pastoral Care Ministry as a Parish Nurse volunteer overseeing the American Red Cross Blood Drives held at Saint Michael.

As Director of Worship Ministries, Haley oversees the planning and coordination of worship services and volunteer teams, ensuring they are well-coordinated and spiritually enriching. Prior to this role, she served as Head Sacristan.
Haley previously served on the ministry staff at Church of the Incarnation in various roles including Associate for Liturgy and Worship and Director of Resource Management. She also spent five years at Washington National Cathedral managing worship services and event logistics as Events and Special Services Manager.
Haley holds a BA in Public Relations from Texas Tech University. A lifelong Episcopalian, she discovered her love for ministry as a teen in her church’s Confirmation program. She has served as an acolyte, lector, chalice bearer, on altar guild, and on numerous church committees.
Haley enjoys spending time with her husband Scott, an Organist at Highland Park United Methodist Church, and supporting their daughter in her various extracurricular activities.

Tammy is a devoted mom to Jon David and Jordan and beloved TaTa to Jaxon and Carter—family is her absolute rock! The love she shares with family is so infectious it radiates onto anyone who crosses her path. She will advocate for you to get what you want and create a lasting friendship.
