This is a unique time in Saint Michael’s history—a time that urges us to think boldly! We have launched an unprecedented capital campaign to support the decades-long, overdue revitalization and expansion of our church facilities. It is a brave step to reinvigorate our campus, unite our community, and invest in education!

Together, we continue the journey of Building our Future, each of us serving as a valuable member of the body of Christ. We seek to stretch beyond our launch goal and raise $65 million to address increased construction costs. Join us as we build upon the vibrant history entrusted to us.

We know how important this parish is to you. This is where we worship, where we celebrate new life and bury our loved ones, and where we are formed as Christian disciples. This campaign will preserve the beauty of our sacred spaces while creating new areas and better equipping our parish with updated facilities that support our continued spiritual formation for generations to come.

Renovating and expanding our gathering spaces will allow members and friends to come together as one across all our services and events. Saint Michael is enlivened by the spirit of Christ and strengthened by our commitment to our parish community. Parishioners at Saint Michael look to the future with great hope and expectation that our discipleship will grow spiritually and significantly.

Saint Michael continues to be community focused and mission driven. For so long, our facility has not been conducive to sharing our Episcopal teachings and education across the parish. Upgrading our decades-old utilities infrastructure and maximizing parking will resolve challenges and deferred maintenance needs. Investing in our campus is necessary to further our Christian formation and ensure that our campus will withstand the next 75 years.

Expanding the spaces for adult formation will allow us to continue to foster knowledge, faith, and fellowship. Expanding the learning environment for our Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, as well as Saint Michael Episcopal School, will allow us to further invest in the faith formation of our youngest learners.

Adult Faith Formation
Adult Faith Formation is the lifelong process of finding and falling in love with God in the midst of our human lives. Every one of us, by virtue of our Baptism, is on a lifelong journey of faith. Consequently, formation serves to support, nourish, and challenge adults as they explore their faith, experience its power, and grow in relationship with God.

Children, Youth, & Family Ministries
Expanding the learning environment for our Children, Youth, and Family Ministries, as well as Saint Michael Episcopal School, will allow us to further invest in the faith formation of our youngest learners.

We are asking all members to increase or continue their annual stewardship pledge, in addition to considering a capital campaign commitment. We know each person’s financial situation is different, and we are sensitive to these differences.

We simply ask that you prayerfully consider a gift above your annual stewardship pledge, payable over up to five years, that is meaningful to both you and Saint Michael.

A pledge to Saint Michael means that you have stated your intention to fulfill a defined, monetary gift.

To make a pledge, you can fill out a pledge card while at church, online here, or email Caroline Moore, Director of Advancement, [email protected].

A pledge can be fulfilled at a frequency of your choosing (weekly, monthly, or annually) by check, credit card, cash in requested pledge envelopes, appreciated stock, or tax-free IRA distribution if 70.5 or older. If you have any payment questions, call Caroline Moore, Director of Advancement, at 214.692.3001.
