This capital campaign will provide necessary improvements to our campus and enhance our spiritual growth and outreach in the community. This historic campaign is focused on Uniting our Community, Reinvigorating our Campus, and Investing in Education.

How will construction impact the Saint Michael campus?
There are now two phases of construction, each affecting different areas of campus. You will be notified of construction effects before each phase begins. The new planned schedule for construction is:

What about access for parishioners with accessibility issues?
The West Entrance double doors near the accessibility elevator will be open until May 2024. The South Entrance will remain open until September 2024. Recommended parking for easy access to the building is South Entrance Circle Drive and West Parking Lot. Accessibility information will be updated throughout the project.
Why is construction necessary?
This long-overdue reconfiguration of our campus will better serve our parish and the community by maximizing our building footprint and creating a gathering place that allows us to better live out our mission and calling to each other and our city.

How is construction being paid for?
The Building our Future capital campaign will fund all three phases of construction. Pledges will be taken throughout the building process, with the majority of funds solidified by January 2024.

What is Phase I: Remodel of Building our Future capital campaign?
Phase I is the Remodel phase – a reconfiguration of Saint Michael Episcopal School and Saint Michael Episcopal Church classrooms.
How long will Phase I last?

How do I get around campus during Phase I?

Does Phase I impact the entire parish?
No. This phase primarily impacts Saint Michael Episcopal School (SMES) and church formation classes. Current school year programming will continue through April 2024 for church formation classes and mid-May 2024 for SMES classes.
If you or your group are impacted at any point during Phase I (December 2023 – September 2024), you will receive a notification from a group leader or staff member by December 1, 2023, with confirmation of your new meeting location.
