Weekly Events:

LiveWIRE

6th-12th grade, Youth Center

Wednesday nights have long been a time of meaningful community and growth for young people at Saint Michael.

LiveWire is a middle school and high school gathering on Wednesday nights where we explore the intersections of faith and life.  It’s an opportunity for students and adults to gather around relevant topics and discuss the cross points of our daily life, our greater context, and our evolving faith.

Each Wednesday night includes bible study, an excellent meal, and a great sense of fellowship among friends.

Encounter Sunday Class

7th-12th grade

Sundays, 10 AM, Youth Center

Encounter is the Sunday school experience for our middle and high school youth. Encounter is taught in three week themes, each developed to help young people grow in faith as well as confidence in acting on their faith.
We are excited to add a new component this year; special guest speakers have been invited several times throughout the year to share their story. On these guest speaker Sundays we will invite parents to join us for the presentation and some small group discussion.

Disciples Confirmation Class

Sundays, 10 am, Theater

dis

6th grade is the year of confirmation at Saint Michael through the Disciples class. Each youth participates in a year-long journey that walks each individual and the community through the traditions of the Episcopal church, but also guides them through claiming faith as their own. This unique experience combines Sunday classes, small group break outs, service projects and a family worship event into a faith formation opportunity that is remarkable..
