THE REV. MICHAEL MILLS
The Rev. Michael Mills is rector of the Episcopal Church of the Good Shepherd in Dallas, TX, where he has served for 7 years. He earlier was dean and rector of the Cathedral Church of St. Matthew in Dallas, the acting dean of the Anglican School of Theology, and served in a variety of roles in other churches. Michael is also an attorney, having worked in two Dallas firms. He earned a master of arts in English from the University of Montevallo, his M.Div. from Nashotah House Theological Seminary, and his Juris Doctor from the University of Alabama School of Law.
BECKY MIDDLETON
Flowing between soul, pop, and roots music, Becky Middleton has found her groove not only as a sought-after vocalist, but an artist stopping strangers in their tracks on first listen. A finalist in the R&B category for Yoko Ono’s international John Lennon Songwriting Contest, she has performed live on Fox 4 Good Day KDFW-TV, Good Morning Texas WFAA-TV, and for Reese Witherspoon’s Draper James store launch with FEED Projects. She’s received a Dallas Observer Music Awards nomination for Best Female Vocalist. Becky has shared the stage with well-known national and regional artists including Passion Pit, Carolyn Wonderland, Pretty Lights, Ishi, Salim Nourallah, Larry Gee, and David Ramirez among others. She is also the founder and original host of the weekly Songwriter Round Series at Opening Bell. The soulful songstress released her latest full-length album “Break The Fever”, produced by Beau Bedford (Paul Cauthen, The Texas Gentlemen), available on all streaming platforms.
