ABOUT THE MOSM

The Men of Saint Michael is an informal group whose aim is to bring men into a closer relationship with Jesus Christ. It is the umbrella organization that coordinates Men’s activities at our church: fellowship, study, and groups that work together to deepen men’s relationship with their families, with other men of the church, and their personal relationship with God.

Contact Fr. Eric Liles with any questions you may have, or more information.

    Monday, January 18, 6:30 PM - 8:00 PM

    Location: Zoom
Led by Mary Ann Webster - [email protected]

The 250+ graduates of the 12-week course on the Enneagram will now have the opportunity to come together to share their experiences of living into their unique way of being in the world with one another. These gatherings will be offered monthly both in the daytime and evenings through May. We will build on the knowledge gained discussing in greater depth what it means to be in the head, heart, or gut triad to how we are progressing in dealing with the numbers we go to for security or in stress and so many other facets of using enneagram knowledge to grow more into the person God created us to be. Let's come back together to continue the journey!

The Bible and the arts are inherently and historically linked. Since the 4th century in the Christian era, congregations have been guided by the lectionary's imaginative and disciplined journey through the Bible. Using these readings, the liturgy, music, colors, movements, and celebrations of the church year, the Bible and the arts are brought together in a significant way. Imaging the Word is a resource providing visual arts, music, photography, prose, poetry, prayers, and commentary based on each Sunday's lectionary readings. The class is open to everyone anytime.

Join Chris for an exciting study of Daniel and Revelation, the two most significant apocalyptic books of the Bible. We will consider how these books have been understood (and misunderstood!) throughout Jewish and Christian history, and how they can guide us in our own discipleship today. Thursday, January 21, 7:00 AM - 8:00 AM

Location: Online via Zoom - email David Loomis for a link.

This men's group meets to discuss the lessons for the current week from the Lectionary, exploring ways in which the passages speak to everyday life and our own spiritual journey. Lessons and commentary are emailed early each week to enable participants to familiarize themselves with the material. On a rotating basis, participants facilitate discussion by studying the lessons and reviewing available information on the subject.

Flowers in our holy worship spaces are a beautiful gift to God and those who attend services at Saint Michael as well as those being honored or remembered. A contribution to the Flower Fund is a meaningful way to honor or remember a loved one for special life events such as birthdays, anniversaries, baptisms, confirmations, thanksgivings, or in memory of a loved one.
