TELA, HONDURAS DAY 5
Wednesday, February 15
By the Rev. Robin Hinkle

We went to a barrio called Citronella. A barrio is basically a neighborhood, and it will have a school for the children from kindergarten through 6th grade. Sometimes they are all in one room. Citronella is fortunate to have 4 classrooms which is good because 150 students attend there. These are the public schools, and their resources are extremely limited. The teachers and students love our visits, and all the arts and crafts.
