Youth Mission Week 2023 | Day 1

We are ready for the kids!!! Our youth are amazing!!! They started by building a rock river that will be topped off by painted rocks we will create with our campers this week. This project included moving 1.5 tons of river rock from point A (the front of the school) to point B (the courtyard) by hand using buckets and wheelbarrows.
We then decorated the halls with balloons and posters for our “Journey” theme. Our cheer team created cheers to pump up the energy all week. And then we were assigned our campers pre-k through 6th grade.
On Tuesday all 300 kids and 42 youth volunteers are headed to the Perot Museum!
