Faith & Pop Music - Taylor's Version
Monday, May 06, 2024, 6:00 PMin the Chapel Conference Room
Psalm 95 begins by saying, "O come, let us sing to the Lord; let us make a joyful noise to the rock of our salvation!" Music is part of the fabric of humanity and a significant part of biblical scripture. In this course, we'll explore familiar songs in new ways and challenge ourselves to see where pop music and faith intersect. Each week will feature several songs from various artists, genres, and eras (yes, including Taylor Swift!) and approach topics such as God, Peace, Exile and Restoration, Life and Death, Grace, Sin and Redemption, and Faith.
Class meets every Monday from April 22 – May 13.
